    Facebook will face a double grilling from European lawmakers next week over the Cambridge Analytica scandal, its role in election interference, and its attitude to new privacy laws.
    CEO Mark Zuckerberg will meet politicians in a closed session on Tuesday, while Sheryl Sandberg could be quizzed by the EU's Civil Liberties Committee in an open session.

    The scandal-ridden company has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, reports Reuters. The filing isn't unexpected as the company and its British parent SCL Elections Ltd said earlier this month they would both be shutting down and filing for bankruptcy after an abrupt drop in business after news of the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica scandal broke in March.     NEW YORK - Cambridge Analytica, the beleaguered data collection agency that worked for President Donald Trump's 2016 election campaign, is liquidating operations.
    The British firm filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection late Thursday. It said in a New York court filing that its assets totaled $100,001 to $500,000. Its liabilities are between $1 million and $10 million and it has between one and 49 creditors.

    NEW YORK - Cambridge Analytica, the beleaguered data collection agency that worked for President Donald Trump's 2016 election campaign, is liquidating existing operations.
    The British firm filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection late Thursday. It said in a New York court filing late Thursday that its assets totaled $100,001 to $500,000. Its liabilities are between $1 million and $10 million.
