    Summary List Placement The December legislation that enhanced the CARES Act and reauthorized PPP also revived a program that allows borrowers of SBA-backed loans to skip interest and principle payments for six months.
    This debt relief program should make the SBA's bread-and-butter lending programs more affordable and attractive for new borrowers. Small businesses could get up to $36,000 and not have to pay the first six months of payments.
    Beginning February 1, new SBA loans in the 7, 504, and Microloan programs are eligible.
